Green cliffs. Blue sea. Cold rain. Violent Wind. There are all the elements I had first to adapt as I arrived on the Irish ground.

Compared to France, the weather was more grey and cold, the people were nicer and more friendly, and the landscapes were singulars and breathtaking.

As I began my experience, I wanted to share all of my great adventures, my life changing encountering, my amazing discoveries.

In these pages, you will read articles about local events, learn about studying in Ireland and admire the beautiful photographs my friends and I took through our Erasmus experience.

Thank you for reading my blog, and enjoy!

A Lily…

My name is Celia Taunay. I am in my third and last year of Applied Foreign Languages. I studying at the University of Tours in France. In the context of an Erasmus Program, I attended the Mary Immaculate College in Limerick (Ireland) for a semester.

I am 20 years old, and this is my first time studying abroad. I have always wanted to study in Ireland, since I had been here 4 years ago. I traveled in Europe (UK, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway) and also in Mexico and Japan. Among my travels, I loved Ireland the most. Hence I spent the spring semester in Limerick.

During my time here, I saw the Cliffs of Moher and the Ring of Kerry. I have been to Galway, Cork, Killarney, Kilkenny, Cobh and Kinsale. I gathered pictures and details about these cities, in this blog.

Regarding the future, I plan to visit Northern Ireland, by going to Belfast and being the northern coast. Then, I will finally visit Dublin.
